The association Des Cœurs à Sauver has been working since 2012 for the protection and well-being of abandoned or stray animals , primarily in Haute-Savoie. It takes in, cares for, and places cats, dogs, rabbits, and rodents with foster families while they await adoption.
Without a fixed shelter, the association relies on a network of committed volunteers and foster families , while carrying out essential actions such as sterilizing colonies of feral cats , in order to limit proliferation and avoid animal suffering.
Des Cœurs à Sauver takes in abandoned, stray or distressed animals , offering them veterinary care, appropriate food and a temporary home until they are adopted.
It also works to support owners in difficulty , helping them to feed their animals or to rehome those they can no longer care for .
The association works with passion to defend an essential cause: every animal deserves a home and a dignified life . Thanks to its team of volunteers, it rescues more than 300 animals each year and places nearly 200 stray cats under its protection .
Its values: kindness, responsiveness, commitment and unconditional love for animals.
Des Cœurs à Sauver works tirelessly to care for, protect and find homes for abandoned animals , while also fighting against the uncontrolled reproduction of stray cats.
Every euro collected helps to finance care, sterilizations, treatments or food , directly intended for rescued animals.

How does it work?
Our "Do it yourself" (DIY) kits for making a decorative pixel art mosaic contain everything you need, accessible to everyone, without any artistic or manual skills required!
All the necessary material is present in our kits: mosaic tiles, tube of glue, fiberglass grid, model to follow and even a little surprise...
Our kits are available in two tile sizes: mini (1.2 cm) or classic (2.3 cm). And optional: our phosphorescent tiles.
These tiles are identical to those used by famous mosaic artists, and are completely unalterable over time.
A fun and accessible activity for everyone, to do alone, in pairs, or as a family, with younger children under adult supervision. 😜

You will only need to have clear cling film and a cutter (a pair of scissors also works but is less recommended) on hand during construction.
And then, depending on where you will fix your mosaic, you will need to plan the appropriate fixing method (see the following questions for more information).
Otherwise, apart from your hands and the contents of the kit, you won't need anything else! -
Tilipix kits are designed for all curious and creative people! Children can participate in the creation process accompanied by an adult, especially for handling the glue and small tiles safely.
The final mosaic cutting stage must be carried out by an adult only.

Each kit includes the exact number of tiles needed to build the model you have chosen.
Of course, since we're nice (and especially predictable), we'll give you a few extra tiles in case of a problem (a tile breaks or your dog runs away with one!). -
Our tiles are identical to those used by famous mosaic artists. They are made from high-quality recycled glass sourced from other industries and naturally derived inorganic pigments.
Our partner produces its tiles using a completely clean and environmentally friendly production system with minimal water consumption. The result is a 100% recyclable and eco-friendly product with high added value.

Our glue comes from our French partner Cléopatre, who have been producing their glue in France since 1930.
Its approach is certified "eco-friendly" since our partner maintains a strong environmental policy and notably holds EMAS ("EcoManagement and Audit Scheme") certification
And to top it all off, it smells lovely and has a beautiful white dress!

It takes less than two 15-minute sessions to build a mosaic using the kit. This can vary depending on the size and complexity of the mosaic, but above all, on your skill level.
Two drying stages of 8 hours each are also required.
Put together, it will therefore take a full day to have your mosaic finished. -
To fix your mosaic to an indoor wall, you can use the adhesive strips we sell or use other commercially available systems (Patafix, double-sided tape, etc.).

To permanently fix a mosaic to an outdoor wall, you will simply need to use all-materials no-nail-no-screw fixing adhesive or cement adhesive available in any DIY store.
Warning, this process will be final so choose the location carefully!

Absolutely! If you don't want to or are afraid to fix the mosaic to an interior or exterior wall, you can simply place it on a piece of furniture, flat or against the wall.
Be aware that some people even use mosaics as trivets! -
The kits contain high-quality glass mosaic tiles, making them durable and weather-resistant.
Mosaics can withstand rain, sun and frost without fading or degrading, making them an ideal outdoor decorating option.
For indoor use, unless your cat jumps on it and knocks it over, the mosaic will have an almost unlimited lifespan!
